Statistics: Russia’s inflation at 0.23% in June 22–Monday
MOSCOW, Jun 30 (PRIME) -- Russia’s consumer price inflation sped up to 0.23% from June 22 through Monday, and reached 4.13% since January 1, the Federal State Statistics Service said on Wednesday.
The sugar prices increased by 0.14% in the period, sunflower oil prices rose by 0.05%, poultry prices decreased by 0.01%, while the egg prices decreased by 1.85%.
The buckwheat prices rose 0.22%, flour prices increased 0.23%, and pasta prices grew 0.16%.
Fruit and vegetable prices grew by 0.5% on average. Carrot prices jumped 7.7%, potato prices increased 3.4%, and cabbage prices rose 2.8%, but cucumber prices fell 6.8%, tomato prices decreased 3.1%, an onion prices went down 0.6%.
Gasoline prices rose 0.1%, and diesel fuel prices increased by 0.2%
